The rangers will start the left-hander Patrick Corbin (1-0, 3.86 ERA) while athletics will thwart with the right-hander Osvaldo Bido (2-1, 2.61).
Texas heads west after losing two of the three at home against the title champion of World Series Los Angeles Dodgers who included a 1-0 setback on Sunday in the series of the series. Athletics won four times in their six -game road trip to Chicago and Milwaukee four times, but dropped two of its last three.
Bido won his second victory of the season during his last departure, going 5 2/3 innings in a match that athletics captured 3-1 against the White Sox in Chicago on Wednesday. He gave one point on five strokes and a walk and did not record a stick withdraws in the victory.
“I did not eliminate anyone, but I attacked the area and obtained a weak contact,” said Bido after the victory over the White Sox. “It is a great opportunity for me. I feel very happy to be in rotation as a starter. I feel proud. I feel like not not to drop or the team.”
Bido made at least five rounds in his four departures this season and has no longer abandoned two points in any of his appearances. He has a 0-1 file and an MPM of 13.50 at the start of his career against the Rangers, granting four points on three strokes in 2 2/3 sleeves last May during a 12-11 victory in Texas in Oakland.
