  1. Yeah because putting him on the IL is definitely gonna fix everything right? Maybe next they’ll try thoughts and prayers too 🙄

  2. People saying this is a good move are crazy. What about his defense?? He’s still been solid defensively even if the bat isnt there. Your basically weakening the infield for no good reason imo.

  3. Does anyone know if this is retroactive or starting today? Also wonder whose getting called up to replace him. Hopefully someone from Durham whose been hitting well down there.

  4. Great, just great. Now we got no depth at SS and the playoffs are coming up soon. This could really hurt us if he’s out for awhile, but I guess management knows better then us right?? 🤷

  5. This is such a bad decision by the front office honestly. Kim was just starting to find his groove and now they do this?? Makes no sense to me at all. Terrible timing.

  6. Finally! About time they made this move. Kim’s been struggling big time lately so this is probly the right call for now. Hope he recovers quick tho.

  7. For those wondering, Kim’s been hitting .217 over his last 15 games with only 2 RBIs. The Rays probably want to give him time to work on his mechanics without the pressure of daily games. Standard procedure when a player is in a slump like this.

  8. Oh wow what a shocker, another promising player gets benched right when we need him most. Classic Rays management at it’s finest lol
