  1. This could be a turning point in her career. She’s always had the talent but struggled with consistency. Winning at home with all that pressure shows mental strength. Dont be surprised if she makes some noise at upcoming majors

  2. Sorry but no. Home crowd advantage, favorable draws, and still almost lost the final. This doesn’t prove anything about her being ready for the big stage. She’ll be back to losing early rounds next week guarenteed.

  3. Honestly not that impressed. The draw was pretty weak this week and she barely made it through some matches. Let’s see if she can actually perform at a real tournament with top 10 players.

  4. Imagine training your whole life, becoming a professional athlete, and your biggest achievement is winning a 250 tournament in your hometown where everyone already knows you name. Truly inspiring stuff 🤣

  5. Sure, “reigns in Prague” – because winning one small tournament makes you royalty now. I guess we should start calling her Queen Marie? 👑

  6. Oh wow, another home tournament win. How convenient. Must be nice when the scheduling and wildcards all line up perfectly for you 🙄

  7. People keep saying she deserved this but did she really? Her opponent retired in the semis and the final went to three sets against someone ranked outside top 50. That’s not exactly dominating performance if you ask me

  8. Finally Bouzkova gets her moment! Been waiting for her to win on home soil for so long. The pressure must of been insane but she handled it like a true champion. Prague must be going crazy right now!!

  9. Bouzkova’s performance this week was statistically impressive – 78% first serve points won and only 12 unforced errors in the final. This is her second WTA title overall, first since 2022. She’ll move up to around #28 in the rankings.

  10. Congrats to Marie!! What an emotional win, you could see how much it meant to her. Czech tennis is in good hands 🎾

  11. lol did anyone else notice how the crowd was literally cheering against every opponent? must be nice playing with that kind of advantage

  12. Great to see! She’s been so consistant this year and really deserved a breakthrough. Her backhand was on fire all week.
