  1. Good to hear its nothing serious! Ohtani has been carrying the team this season and we need him healthy. Hope the trainers are monitoring his hydration better now tho.

  2. Cramps can indicate overtraining syndrome, especially for a two-way player like Ohtani. The body needs adequate recovery time between pitching and batting performances. Teams should consider monitoring his lactic acid levels and implementing better rest protocols between games to prevent this.

  3. Cramping is usualy caused by electrolyte imbalance or dehydration, sometimes muscle fatigue. Given the weather conditions and Ohtani’s workload both pitching and hitting, its not suprising. The team’s medical staff probly gave him fluids and he should be fine for next game. Nothing to worry about honestly.

  4. Cramps in the 4th inning?? Really?? This guy gets paid millions and cant even stay hydrated properly. My high school coach would of benched me for that kind of unprofessionalism.

  5. This wouldnt even be news if it was any other player but because its Ohtani everyone freaks out. The media bias is real and frankly getting annoying at this point.

  6. “Minimizes the cramps” – yeah because admitting you need to drink more water would really hurt that endorsement deal wouldn’t it? 😏

  7. People saying this is no big deal are delusional. Cramps in the 4th inning means somethings wrong with his conditioning program or the trainers arent doing there job. This could lead to more serious injuries down the line if not addressed properly!!

  8. This is exactly why Ohtani is the GOAT! Most players would milk this for weeks but he just brushes it off and keeps going. True warrior mentality right their. We’re lucky to watch this guy play honestly.

  9. “ended begin in 4th” – did the title have a cramp too? 😄 But seriously glad Ohtanis ok he’s to fun to watch

  10. my man really said “its just cramps bro” and walked it off like a boss haha. Meanwhile I get a cramp tying my shoes and im down for the count 😂

  11. Another “minor injury” that conveniently gets downplayed. Wake up people the team is hiding something bigger here guarenteed.
