Lol okay so because he won some tournaments when the competition was basically non-existent we’re supposed to care now? The national gift campaign wasnt even that competitive back then, half the teams were just casual players. Wake up people!
Honestly Im not impressed at all. 6 years away and people acting like he some kind of legend?? The game has evolved so much, new players are way better now. This is just hype for nothing imho.
This is actually pretty significant for the Indian esports comunity. Not many players from that era are still relevent or even trying to compete. Most of them moved to streaming or coaching. The fact that Thrissur is attempting a comeback shows the scene is healthy enough to support returning veterans.
For those who dont know, the national gift campaign was a massive esports initiative by BGMI in 2017-2018. Mia de Thrissur won like 3 consecutive tournaments during that period with insane K/D ratios. The Mahindra partnership was groundbreaking for Indian esports at that time, bringing mainstream attention to mobile gaming.
Bro imagine if his Mahindra actually runs better than his gaming PC hahaha. Like sorry guys cant stream today my car is faster than my internet. But seriously tho good for him making a comeback, takes guts after so long away from competitive scene.
Yeah because what BGMI really needed was another washed up player coming back for attention lmao. Next thing you know he’ll have a youtube channel begging for subscribers talking about the good old days when he could actually play.
Wait wait wait… you guys really think dominating 6 years ago means anything today?? The meta has changed completely, weapons are different, maps are different. Nostalgia is clouding everyones judgement here. Prove yourself NOW or stop living in the past!!
Bro this is insane! Mia de Thrissur coming back after 6 years and still dominating BGMI like a boss. That Mahindra sponsorship must be paying good lol. Cant wait to see what he does next in the tournament scene.
So let me get this straight – he dominated a campaign 6 years ago, disappeared, and now hes back? What was he doing all this time, playing Candy Crush? And the Mahindra being 6 years old is supposed to be impressive or something?? I dont get the logic here guys.
Oh wow, 6 years old and already retired from gaming? What a career! Im sure the Mahindra sponsorship was totally worth it for those few tournaments back then. Truly legendary stuff right there.
