  1. This is like watching your friend embarass himself at a party and you having to pretend you dont know him haha. Except the party is at Lords and millions are watching. Poor Jitesh probably wanted earth to swallow him whole right there lmao

  2. Wow such rescue, much heroic. DK swooping in like Superman because Jitesh forgot how to hold a bat. Maybe next time we should just send in the waterboy, might have better chances honestly 🙄

  3. Oh yes, because getting ‘humiliated’ at Lord’s is exactly what every cricketer dreams of when they start playing. What a memorable debut moment lol.

  4. This is joke of highest order! Absolutly unacceptable performance and embarassment to entire team. How can such player even make it to playing eleven at Lords?? Time to drop him permanently.

  5. I dont understand why everyones overreacting so much?? These things happen in cricket all the time, its part of learning proces. Jitesh is young player and will bounce back from this setback. We should be suporting our players not tearing them down at every oportunity. DK did well yes but lets not forget Jitesh contributions in past matches to.

  6. This is absolutly disgracful behavior at Lords of all places!! Jitesh didnt deserved this kind of humilation infront of such prestegious crowd. Thank god DK was their to save the day, what a legand he is proving to be everytime.

  7. Why we even selecting Jitesh for such importent matches?? His performance has been mediocore at best and now this embarassing incident. Selectors need to wake up and smell the coffe already!

  8. Everyone blaming Jitesh but nobodys talking about the captains decision making here! Why was he put in that position at Lords in first place? And people calling DK a hero – he was just doing his job that he suppose to do anyway. Stop making mountains out of molehills people.

  9. For those who dont know, this is actualy the third time DK has stepped in to handle such situasions this season. His average rescue score is around 45.3 with strike rate of 138. Jitesh on other hand has struggled consistantly in pressure situations with only 23.4 average in last 10 innings. The numbers speak for themselfs really.

  10. Classic case of right player wrong time scenario. The pressure at Lords is immense for any young cricketer, add to that the expectasions and media scrutiny. DK experience really showed why veteran players are invaluable in such high pressure games. Would be intresting to see how team managment handles this going forward and weather Jitesh gets another chance or not.
